Ranked steps in FirstTry's catch, aquarium, evolve, and sink loop for place 113384248926706. Contesting a reel is included. The 1,800-fish index is not broken into fish rows, because this site has no per-fish stats.
Ranking criteria
Each row is an action in the Roblox games API description checked for the hub on 25 October 2026. The chain the description names is: land a catch by timing the reel, store and grow it, evolve toward rarer sea monsters, and get heavy enough to sink deeper. S means the action is the catch itself or the rarity payoff the description names. A means the action stores the catch, opens depth, or can steal a catch in a zero-sum contest. Nothing is ranked by damage, weight numbers, or a bait chart. Those numbers are not on this site.
What each tier letter means on this page
Tier
What the letter means here
S
Without this action you do not have a catch, or you skip the rarity outcome the developer describes. The row still has no numeric stat.
A
The description requires it to hold, grow, or go deeper, or it can take a catch from another player. It is not a substitute for landing and evolving your own fish.
Over 1,800 fish is the developer's index size, not a tier table. Zone names, bag sizes, and bait recipes from single video guides stay unranked, the same way the hub left them unconfirmed. MONSTER's extra +1% Monetization luck is not used as a tie-breaker, because the codes page does not publish that perk.
Tier S
Lands the catch or turns it into the rarer monster the description names.
Land the harpoon and time the reel
S
โAim at a target and fire, then time your reels to pull the fish inโ
The catch does not exist until the reel is timed. Aiming is part of the same sentence, not a separate ranked weapon. This is S because every later row โ aquarium, evolution, weight, depth, and even a contest โ needs a fish that someone actually pulled in.
Practice the reel on your own target before you spend the session fighting over someone else's line. This page does not publish a frame window or a best harpoon.

The catch sentence

No harpoon upgrade price is published on this site ยท Not listed
How to do it
Aim, fire, and time the reel until the fish is in. Then move it to the aquarium.
Why it ranks here
It is the only way the description says a fish comes in.
A landed catch is fully yours before anyone contests it.
What this rank does not claim
No timing number, harpoon tier, or starter weapon is confirmed.
A missed reel is zero progress, and this page cannot show a practice chart.
First catch
Every later step in the loop
Evolve toward a rarer sea monster
S
โEvolve fish toward bigger, rarer sea monstersโ
Evolution is the growth payoff the description names after you store a fish. It is S beside the reel because the 1,800-fish index is explicitly about rarer outcomes, and evolve is the named path into that index. No single species inside the index is ranked.
Evolve a fish you kept. Do not treat a contest win as a different progression system. The description uses the same evolve line for the fish you have.

The rarity sentence after the aquarium

No evolution cost or recipe is published on this site ยท Not listed
How to do it
Grow a fish in the aquarium, then take the evolve step the game offers. This page does not name the button.
Why it ranks here
It is the only rarity path the developer text names.
It gives the index claim a mechanic instead of a shopping list.
What this rank does not claim
No monster name, chance, or material cost is stored here.
You cannot evolve a fish that never survived the reel.
Turning a kept catch into the late loop
Tier A
Stores the catch, opens deeper water, or contests a line. High value, not the first skill.
Aquarium growth
A
โPut caught fish in your aquarium and grow themโ
The aquarium is where a landed catch becomes a fish you can grow and then evolve. Ranked A, not S, because storage is not the catch and not the rarity sentence. It is still required. A fish that never enters the aquarium is off the path the description writes next.
Bank the catch immediately. This page has no bag size, so it will not tell you how many fish you can hold outside the aquarium.
Basis
Holding step before evolution
Price on this site
No aquarium slot price is published on this site ยท Not listed
How to do it
After the reel succeeds, place the fish in the aquarium and grow it there.
Why it ranks here
It is the named home for a catch before evolution.
Growth is a separate verb from the reel, so the catch is not finished at the shot.
What this rank does not claim
No slot count, food item, or growth timer is confirmed.
It does not by itself make a rarer monster.
Keeping a successful reel
Setting up evolution
Get heavy and sink deeper
A
โGet fat and sink deeperโ
Depth is a result of getting heavier, not a weapon you equip. Ranked A because the description presents it as the gate that follows growth, while the catch and the evolution are the actions that create that weight. Deeper water is not a named biome list on this page.
Sink after something is growing in the aquarium. OP's Fat Potion, if you redeem the code, is a codes-page reward that points at this sentence. It is not a measured weight and it does not promote sinking above the reel.
Basis
Depth gate, zones unconfirmed
Price on this site
No weight threshold is published on this site ยท Not listed
How to do it
Grow and evolve until the game lets you sink. Do not follow a zone route from a single video guide.
Why it ranks here
It is the only depth rule the developer text gives.
It explains why weight language exists in this game at all.
What this rank does not claim
No zone name, depth number, or required weight is confirmed.
Sinking without a catch to evolve does not use the rarity sentence.
Opening the next water after you can already catch and store
Contest a fish someone else is reeling
A
โHarpoon another player's fish. Only one player keeps that catchโ
Contesting can hand you a fish you did not hook, or it can hand your fish to someone else. Only one player keeps it. Ranked A for a player who can already land their own reel. It is not the beginner default, and it is not S, because the description still requires you to time reels and evolve what you keep.
In a server of 6, more than one player can fire at the same fish. Use the contest when you can afford to lose it. Do not open the session this way if your aquarium is empty.
Basis
Zero-sum catch, not the starter
Price on this site
No contest fee is published on this site ยท Not listed
How to do it
Fire at a fish another player is pulling in. Keep it only if you are the player the game awards.
Why it ranks here
The description makes the outcome exclusive: one keeper.
It is the only steal rule in this game, and it is not a house raid.
What this rank does not claim
Losing means that catch is gone. No compensation is described.
It does not teach the reel, and it does not name which fish are worth the fight.
A zero-sum catch after you can reel
Punishing a slow reel nearby
Order of play
Early. Fire the harpoon and time the reel until one catch is yours. Do not open by contesting someone else.
Mid. Put that catch in the aquarium and grow it. Evolution is the next named step, not a zone list.
Late. Get heavy and sink. Deeper water is the developer's phrase. Zone names from single video guides are not steps here.
Endgame on this page. Evolve toward bigger, rarer sea monsters. The description says the index has over 1,800 fish. This page does not rank those fish one by one.
Time your own reel until a fish is in.
Store and grow it in the aquarium.
Evolve toward a rarer sea monster, without a species chart.
Get heavy enough to sink deeper, then contest only if the aquarium already has something.

Codes are not a tier
MONSTER (3,000 XP and 3 Ruby Keys) and OP (5,000 XP, 3 Ruby Keys, and 1 Fat Potion) are ACTIVE_VERIFIED on the codes page as of 25 October 2026. They can speed the early loop. They are not tier rows, because a code is not a catch, an evolution, or a depth gate. The +1% Monetization luck claim is not part of MONSTER's published reward. RELEASE and UPDATE stay omitted. This ranking did not change the codes table and did not redeem the codes.

Questions
Why is contesting not S tier?
Only one player keeps the contested fish, so the upside is real, but the description still starts with timing your own reel and evolving what you keep. Contesting an empty aquarium does not follow that chain. It is A tier for players who can already land a catch.
Does the 1,800-fish index mean 1,800 rows?
No. That figure is the developer's size claim. This site has no per-fish stat, so none of those fish is given a letter grade.
What does getting fat and sinking rank as?
A tier. It is the depth gate after growth, not the catch and not the evolution. No weight number or zone name is attached, because the hub does not confirm those.
Does OP make a fish higher tier?
No. OP is a dual-verified code reward (5,000 XP, 3 Ruby Keys, 1 Fat Potion), not a fish. The Fat Potion points at the sink sentence. It does not create a fish ranking.
