Harpoon a Fish Beginner Guide
FirstTry's Harpoon a Fish (place 113384248926706): aim, time the reel, keep the catch in the aquarium, evolve it, then get heavy enough to sink. Contesting someone else's reel is a later choice. Zone names and bait recipes are not steps on this page.
Load the harpoon loop, not a house raid

Harpoon a Fish is a simulation tycoon by FirstTry. The place ID is 113384248926706. The listing title can carry a seasonal prefix. Trust the place ID. Servers hold up to 6 players.
This is not Fish It, the rod-and-reel island game. It is not Steal A Fish, the MY FISH FRIEND house-defense game. A steal in Harpoon a Fish happens while someone else is reeling. Only one player keeps that catch. That is a different loop from walking into a house and taking a displayed fish.
The hub's Roblox snapshot from 25 October 2026 lists 7.0M visits, 32.1K favorites, and 8.0K playing. Those counts are not a live counter. The listing's own updated time was 24 October 2026.
The round the developer actually describes
The official description is a chain, not a menu of modes. You do not pick a zone from a list this site refuses to confirm. You land a catch, store it, grow it, evolve it, and get heavy enough that you sink into deeper water. The same description says the index has over 1,800 fish. That number is a size claim. It is not a catalog this guide can walk fish by fish.
Contesting is in the description, and it is zero-sum: harpoon another player's fish and only one of you keeps it. It is not the first link in the chain. You can progress a catch you landed yourself without winning a fight over someone else's line.
- 1Aim at a target and fire.
- 2Time the reel so the fish actually comes in. A shot without the reel is not the catch the description names.
- 3Put the caught fish in your aquarium.
- 4Grow it there.
- 5Evolve it toward a bigger, rarer sea monster.
- 6Get heavy and sink deeper.
- 7Only then decide whether to harpoon a fish another player is already reeling. Only one player keeps that catch.
First session: land one fish before you fight for one
Spend the opening on your own shot. Aim, fire, and time the reel until the fish is yours. If the reel timing fails, you do not have a catch to store, evolve, or sink with. This page does not publish a timing window in milliseconds. The description only says to time the reel.
Move a successful catch into the aquarium. Growth happens there. A fish left out of the aquarium is not on the evolve path the developer names.
Evolution is the next named step after growth: bigger, rarer sea monsters. Do not ask this page which of the 1,800 index entries that is. No species row is stored here, so no species is the recommended first evolution.
Getting fat is the developer's gate to deeper water, not a joke line to skip. Sink only after a catch is growing. Deeper water is not given zone names on the hub. Single video guides that name zones, bag sizes, or bait are not treated as confirmed facts, and this beginner page does not promote them into steps.
A contest is optional leverage. You fire at a fish someone else is reeling, and one of you goes home with it. Losing the contest does not replace the reel practice you skipped. With 6 players in a server, more than one person can be on the same target. That is the whole rule this page will state.
Codes that already passed the dual-source check
Two codes are ACTIVE_VERIFIED on the codes page checked 25 October 2026. This guide repeats that status. It does not add a code, and it did not redeem either code in-game.
MONSTER is on the developer description and on GameRant for the same reward: 3,000 XP and 3 Ruby Keys. AllThingsHow also names MONSTER and adds +1% Monetization luck. That extra perk is not on the official description or on GameRant, so it is not part of the reward this site publishes.
OP is not on the official description. AllThingsHow (21 October 2026) and RoCodes (checked 25 October 2026, added 20 October 2026) agree on 5,000 XP, 3 Ruby Keys, and 1 Fat Potion. GameRant's 15 October 2026 page does not list OP. RoCodes dates the code after that article. The Fat Potion is the only reason a new player might care about a code before they understand the 'get fat and sink' sentence, and even then the potion is a code reward, not a measured weight stat.
RELEASE and UPDATE appear on AllThingsHow with unconfirmed rewards and are omitted from the codes page. Do not type them from this guide.
Redeem path already on the codes page: open Settings, which public guides describe as a gear button on the left, paste into the Codes box, press Submit. A code can be used once per account. The listing title may include a seasonal prefix. The place ID stays 113384248926706.
What this guide will not invent
Zone names, bag sizes, and bait recipes from single video guides stay off this page, matching the hub. A beginner sequence that needs a secret zone is not a sequence this site can defend.
The 1,800-fish index is acknowledged and then left closed. Ranking even ten of those fish would require stats this repository does not have.
Fish It rod upgrades and Steal A Fish house raids will not help inside this loop. Use those games' own guides if that is the experience you loaded.
Questions
How is a steal in Harpoon a Fish different from Steal A Fish?
In Harpoon a Fish you harpoon a fish another player is reeling, and only one player keeps the catch. Steal A Fish is a house-defense game where you take fish from a collection. Do not use one game's codes or route in the other.
What should my first catch be?
Whatever you can land by aiming, firing, and timing the reel. This site does not name a starter species. Put that catch in the aquarium, grow it, and evolve toward a rarer sea monster. The index size (over 1,800) is not a pick list.
Which codes are dual-verified?
On the 25 October 2026 codes page, MONSTER is 3,000 XP and 3 Ruby Keys, and OP is 5,000 XP, 3 Ruby Keys, and 1 Fat Potion. The +1% Monetization luck line is not part of MONSTER's published reward. RELEASE and UPDATE are omitted. This page did not redeem the codes.
Why are there no zone names?
The hub does not treat zone names, bag sizes, or bait recipes from a single video guide as confirmed. Deeper water is the developer's phrase after you get heavy. It is not a biome list.
