Adventure Time RPG Tier List

What to do first in Adventure Time RPG [Beta]: Finn and Jake share S tier because the official description names both and publishes no combat stats. Teaming, mobs, Dungeon Train, and weapons follow. Buddies, quests, the Tree House, and fishing are lower because they are named and not the power path.

Ranking criteria

This is not a damage tier list. Rows are characters and activities in the Roblox games API description checked for the hub on 25 October 2026 (place 118915268278945, Oh My Glob Games). S means the description names the character and a new player can select that name without a class list this site does not publish. A means the description makes it the group, the combat, or the weapon progression, still without stats. B means it is named and actionable, but no roster or quest log is published. C means it is a hangout or a side reward, not the combat loop. Finn is not ranked above Jake. Doing that would invent a stat.

What each tier letter means on this page
TierWhat the letter means here
SA named character you can play. The tie is intentional. No DPS, support, or tank label is printed by the source.
AA named way to get stronger or to fight: teaming, mobs and bosses, or leveling weapons. Still no numeric chart.
BNamed, and you can do it, but the description gives no list. The rank is the habit, not a best item.
CNamed side activity. Useful to recognize. Not the path that levels a weapon or clears Dungeon Train.

Other characters, classes, shop inventories, weapon stats, and buddy stats are unranked. The hub does not repeat those from single articles, and this page does not break that rule to look more like a character spreadsheet. Weekly content drops are a developer claim, not a meta shift with patch notes.

Tier S

Named starters. Tied because the source gives them equal evidence.

Finn the Human

S

“Play as favourite characters, including Finn the Human”

Finn is S because the developer description names him as someone you play. The same sentence does not give him a weapon, a level, or a damage number. This is a starter priority, not a DPS verdict.

Pick Finn if you want the first name the description prints. Do not wait for a sword, backpack, or skill list. Those are not on the hub. Shop inventories and class lists from single articles stay off this tier list too.

How to do it
Choose Finn when the game offers the characters the description names.

Why it ranks here

  • He is named, so a new player is not guessing a class from a video.
  • He can be chosen without the unpublished class list.

What this rank does not claim

  • No skill, weapon, or role is attached, so S does not mean he outdamages Jake.
  • Nothing here says Finn is free, paid, or level-gated.
  • First character
  • A name the official text actually uses

Jake the Dog

S

“Play as favourite characters, including Jake the Dog”

Jake is the second character the same sentence names, so he is also S. The description does not call him stronger, weaker, or a support. A lower letter would be a name-swap opinion.

Stretching, shapeshifting, and any buddy synergy are not in the developer text this hub quotes, so they are not tie-breakers. Jake as a playable character is also not the same row as equipping a buddy.

How to do it
Choose Jake when the game offers the characters the description names.

Why it ranks here

  • Equal evidence with Finn: one shared sentence, no stats.
  • He is a concrete pick while other characters stay unnamed.

What this rank does not claim

  • No form, cooldown, or support bonus is published here.
  • Putting him below Finn would invent a comparison the source does not make.
  • First character
  • Players who do not want a fake Finn-versus-Jake chart

Tier A

Combat, grouping, and weapon leveling. The power path with no item chart.

Team up with other players

A

“Team up with other players”

Teaming is its own sentence, and the listing holds 25 players. Ranked A because you can do it immediately and the description asks for it, but it is not a character and it does not replace picking Finn or Jake.

Join whoever is in the server. This page has no tank, healer, or duo chart.

Basis

No party requirement is published on this site · Not listed
How to do it
Play with other people in the same server. No further party UI is documented here.

Why it ranks here

  • The description tells you to team up rather than treating solo as the default.
  • Server size makes a group possible without a matchmaking claim this site does not have.

What this rank does not claim

  • No role list, so A does not name a best teammate.
  • A group does not level your weapon for you.
  • Mobs and boss runs
  • Using the 25-player server

Mobs, bosses, and the Dungeon Train

A

“Fight mobs and bosses, including a run through the Dungeon Train”

Combat is A because it is what the description tells a group to do. Dungeon Train is the only named run. It is included in this row instead of getting its own inflated grade. The text does not give it a level requirement or a drop table.

Fight mobs first. Move to Dungeon Train when you are already leveling a weapon. Do not treat the proper noun as a first-minute farm just because it is the only one.

Basis
Only named combat run
Price on this site
No recommended level is published on this site · Not listed
How to do it
Fight the mobs in front of you, then enter the Dungeon Train run when the game offers it.

Why it ranks here

  • Mobs and bosses are explicit, so combat is not a guess.
  • Dungeon Train gives new players one run to look for.

What this rank does not claim

  • No health, reward, or difficulty number is stored here.
  • Other bosses are not named, so they are not ranked separately.
  • The combat the description names
  • A boss run with a real name

Level the weapon you can equip

A

“Power up and level weapons”

This is the power sentence. Ranked A because it is how the description says you get stronger, and because no weapon is named the row is the habit of leveling what you can equip. It is not a best-weapon chart. COINS50's 50 Coins are not a price for a weapon.

Put experience into the weapon you have. Do not reroll toward a sword this page cannot name.

Basis
Power sentence, no weapon chart
Price on this site
No weapon price is published on this site · Coins are a code reward only, not a shop price
How to do it
Equip a weapon the game gives you and level it. The upgrade control is not documented here.

Why it ranks here

  • It is the only progression verb aimed at gear.
  • It does not depend on the unpublished shop.

What this rank does not claim

  • No weapon list, so A cannot crown a best weapon.
  • Fifty Coins from the code are not evidence of a shop economy.
  • Getting stronger inside the named combat
  • A long session after Finn or Jake is chosen

Tier B

Named systems with no roster on this site.

Equip a buddy

B

“Equip a buddy”

A buddy is named and separate from playing as Jake. Ranked B because you can equip one and no roster, cost, or bonus is on this site. Assuming Jake is the buddy would merge two sentences the description keeps apart.

Equip the buddy the game offers. Do not hunt a best buddy list on this page.

Basis
Named equip, no roster
Price on this site
No buddy cost is published on this site · Not listed
How to do it
Equip a buddy when the game shows the slot. This page does not name the buddy.

Why it ranks here

  • It is an explicit equip, so it is part of a round.
  • Keeping it off S stops a fake companion tier list.

What this rank does not claim

  • No buddy name, bonus, or rarity is published.
  • It is not a substitute for teaming with players.
  • A slot the description names
  • After a weapon is already being leveled

Quests and adventures

B

“Go on adventures and take quests that can be heroic, goofy, or both”

Quests are the tone the description sets. Ranked B because no first quest, quest giver, or reward is named. COINS50 is a code, not a quest payout, and it does not promote this row.

Accept the quests the game puts in front of you. Heroic or goofy is the developer's range, not two modes with separate tier lists.

Basis
Tone of the game, no quest log
Price on this site
No quest reward table is published on this site · Not listed
How to do it
Take the quests offered in the Land of Ooo. No starter quest is named on this site.

Why it ranks here

  • Quests are named, so aimless grinding is not the only reading.
  • The goofy-or-heroic line stops this page from inventing a serious-only route.

What this rank does not claim

  • No quest names or turn-in rewards are stored here.
  • A quest is not ranked above the weapon you level while doing it.
  • Following the adventure the description promises

Tier C

Hangout and side rewards. Not a combat rank.

Tree House hangout

C

“Hang out in the Tree House”

The Tree House is the only social space the description names. Ranked C for power progression. It is still worth knowing so you do not confuse it with a damage upgrade or with a code NPC. The codes articles disagree about a lobby zone versus a cogwheel, and neither of those sentences is the Tree House line.

Use it to regroup with the players you teamed with. Do not farm it for a stat this page does not have.

Basis
Social space, not a power spike
Price on this site
No entry cost is published on this site · Not listed
How to do it
Go to the Tree House the game labels. No map coordinate is published here.

Why it ranks here

  • It is a real place name in the developer text.
  • C tier keeps it from being sold as endgame gear.

What this rank does not claim

  • No bonus, shop, or code terminal is confirmed inside it on this site.
  • Standing there does not level a weapon.
  • Finding other players
  • Recognizing the named hangout

Fish for rewards

C

“Fish for rewards”

Fishing is a named side activity inside Adventure Time RPG [Beta]. Ranked C against the combat and weapon path. It is not a rod tier, and it is not a reason to open Fish It, Harpoon a Fish, or Steal A Fish. Those games have their own loops and their own codes.

Fish when you want the reward the description mentions. Do not import a harpoon reel timing, a tunnel purchase, or a rod luck stat. None of those systems are in this description.

Basis
Side activity inside this RPG
Price on this site
No rod, bait, or fish price is published on this site · Not listed
How to do it
Use the fishing the game offers inside this experience. Do not load a different fishing game for it.

Why it ranks here

  • It is explicitly in this game, so ignoring it entirely would misread the description.
  • C tier stops a fishing meta from crowding out Dungeon Train and weapons.

What this rank does not claim

  • No fish, rod, or reward amount is published.
  • It does not make Finn or Jake a fishing class.
  • A break from mobs
  • Rewards the developer mentions without a table

Order of play

  1. Early. Load the Beta place and pick Finn or Jake. Both are S for the same reason: they are named, and no stat separates them.
  2. Mid. Team up and fight mobs. Redeem COINS50 only by the steps on the codes page. The two articles disagree on the button, so this ranking does not add a third path.
  3. Late. Level a weapon and equip a buddy when the game offers one. No best weapon or best buddy is named here.
  4. Endgame on this page. Dungeon Train is the only boss run the description names. Weekly content is a developer claim and is not a changelog on this site.
  1. Pick Finn or Jake.
  2. Team up and fight mobs.
  3. Level a weapon you can equip.
  4. Run Dungeon Train as the named boss content, and treat the Tree House and fishing as side stops.

Codes are not a tier

COINS50 is ACTIVE_VERIFIED for 50 Coins on GamesRadar+ and Destructoid as of 25 October 2026. Fifty Coins do not move Finn, Jake, or a weapon up or down a tier. The official description lists no code. GamesRadar+ puts the box in a lobby zone in front of the training dummies. Destructoid puts it on a top-left cogwheel. This page does not resolve that, does not add another code, and does not edit the codes table.

Left unranked on purpose

  • Every character other than Finn and Jake. The description says other characters exist and does not name them.
  • Class lists, skill trees, shop inventories, weapon stats, and buddy stats.
  • A best quest, a Tree House bonus, and a fishing drop table.
  • Patch notes. Weekly content drops are not an updates page.
  • Fish It rods, Harpoon a Fish reels, and Steal A Fish tunnel fish.

Questions

Why are Finn and Jake the same tier?

The official description names both in one sentence and publishes no combat stat. Ranking one above the other would invent a comparison. S tier here means 'named starter', not 'highest DPS'.

Is Dungeon Train the best farm?

It is the only boss run the description names, so it shares the A-tier combat row with mobs. No drop rate or recommended level is published, so it is not crowned as a best farm.

Is the buddy the same thing as playing Jake?

No. Jake is a character you play. Equipping a buddy is a separate sentence and a B-tier row, because no buddy roster is on this site.

Why is fishing C tier inside an RPG?

The description says you can fish for rewards, and it also says you fight mobs, run the Dungeon Train, and level weapons. Fishing is the side sentence. It is not Fish It, and it has no rod list here.
